Hi all, I tried to resize a root pool but wasn't successful. The system seems ok, though, but can't see the new space.
Here is what I did: Old rpool has only 1 device. 1. Attach a new device, bigger than existing one. 2. Waited until resilvering completed 3. Detach old device 4. Reformated old device to grow it to the same size of new device 5. Attach old device to rpool [rpool now has two devices of same size bigger than original rpool] 6. Waited until resilvering completed 7. Rebooted However, the size of the rpool is still the same as before. It seems that I gained nothing and lost space in the disk.
