[osol-help] can I tell 2009.06 to stop spining the disks if unused after a while?

Thank you for your always very comprehensive replies. 
I have a small hw hic up I wanted to fix this week-end, but I am going skiing, 
(Yeah!) so I'll have to wait a bit before I play with this.
