Hi everybody I have an old SunBlade 100 workstation and I want to install Opensolaris on it. I've just downloaded osol-0906-ai-sparc.iso and burned it. Then I tryed to boot from it on my SunBlade, I hear the cdrom starting spinning and after 3 or 4 second it tells me: Bad magic number in disk label Can't open disk label package
Then I tryed to reburn the cdrom image at le lowest speed possible, but I get the same error. I tryed with another cdrom drive, but I get the same error. I tryed to boot another OS designed for the sparc CPU and it worked. I serched on some forums on the web, so I tryed to boot with this command "boot cdrom -s" but I get the same error. I think that the problem is to format the disks with a peculiar utility but I don't understand if this utility is on the O.S. cdrom or in the openboot of the SunBlade. Can anyone help me ??
