Sorry, I meant pkg, not pkgadd. Using update manager creates same problem.

The 111 was given by the update manager and "pkg image-update", 122 is fine 
with me as long as it works.

I don't want to boot to this broken system and run the commands you gave as 
usability is horrible: only third of the mount points are mounted & no network 
(so copying output is PITA), no GUI, keyboard layout fubared, some commands do 
not work, ... Oh, dmesg gives nothing.
