I'm not sure about FreeBSD, but I tried with FreeNAS (based on FreeBSD) What you might want to check is the version of ZFS you are using. FreeNAS was much older than the current OpenSolaris.
check the version: # zpool upgrade Note that if you do choose to actually upgrade, you can NOT go back to a previous version. So if you created your current OS installation with a newer version of ZFS than FreeBSD has, you cannot import it. Hope that's some use, Martin -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
