Hello, I just installed Nexenta 20081207 (b104) on a machine with Asus p5b-vm motherboard with Areca ARC-1261 SATA-RAID controller. The kernel now boots when I add acpi-user-options=0x8 to the kernel parameters.
However, the arxmsr driver only find one of the three installed disks. The disks are configured as pass-through plain disks. The are visible in the Areca bios listing and if I boot Knoppix, the linux driver sees them all. The Areca bios is the newest (1.46) and the arxmsr is of version 1.20.00. 15. Any ideas what to try to get the rest of the harddisks recognized? Should I try to upgrade the kernel? If so, can you point me to a howto or some instructions - I have very little OpenSolaris experience yet. thanks, -- v -- v at iki.fi
