I thought there was something wrong with my computer, but after I installed OpenSolaris on a Dell PowerEdge 2600 I had similar issues.
It installed fine on this machine, except that nwam did not work. This is of minor importance, so I manually configured the network. However when I rebooted for the second time (on the hard disk), the system has become extremely slow when starting the GUI and when starting an application. As soon as this application is started it runs normal. Any clues what is going wrong? This message posted from opensolaris.org
