Hi, We're trying to install Nexenta-Stor on a couple of newly built boxes (built from last generation Intel server platform).
The board has a pair of LSI 1020/1030 SCSI adaptors (MPTBIOS-IME-5.10.06) - one feeds two identical small drives for the OS, the other feeds a SCSI backplane of six discs, for the array. The OS won't load, and gives the following message: WARNING:/pci at 0,0/pci8086,359a at 7/pci8086,330 at 0/pci8086,3431 at 5,1 (mpt1): Disconnected command timeout for Target 0 WARNING:/pci at 0,0/pci8086,359a at 7/pci8086,330 at 0/pci8086,3431 at 5,1 (mpt1): mpt_handle_event_sync: IOCStatus=0x8000, IOCLogInfo=0x110a0000 We were able to load Fedora (as a test) with no problems, so I don't think it's a hardware problem. Can anyone suggest why we're getting these messages? Thanks, -Dennis This message posted from opensolaris.org
