Hey folks, I don't know if this is a solaris issue, or just a general lack of knowledge on my part.
Whenever I reboot an OpenSolaris box that I'm connected to over ssh, my ssh console hangs for ages, before eventually disconnecting. I've not found any way to avoid this - after issuing the "init 6" command, the console locks before I get chance to logout. When connecting to other systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, ESX) I don't get this problem - if I have a ssh session connected it gets dropped instantly on reboot. Is there anything I can do to make ssh disconnect in a more timely fashion when connecting to solaris? Ross -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
