Hello, I recently installed the latest version of Solaris (2009.6, i386) on my laptop. I configured the network manually with the graphical GUI, setting IP-address, gateway, nameserver. >From the command line, everything seems to work fine, I can, e.g. 'dig >www.google.com' with a positive response. However, both firefox and the >package manager cannot resolve any hostnames. They do work with IP-addresses, >though.
