Hi, I am new to solaris and CIFS Could some body guide me for the following doubts.
1) Is CIFS is replacement for SAMBA or it is and extension/improvement?. 2) How do i know whether my solaris box installed CIFS or not? 3) I am not able to open the following link is it boroken?. http://wiki.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/Getting_Started_With_the_Solaris_CIFS_Service 4) How to migrate from exsisting Samba to CIFS. 5) Does Solaris 10 support CIFS or only by Open solaris.
