Can anyone point me towards a good guide on how to install devices in Solaris - I'm really struggling to find anything. All the resources I've found seem to be aimed at system admins in enterprises. I just need a good basic overview of how to see what hardware is in the system, how to install drivers etc.
I'm running Solaris in virtualbox with a virtual intel NIC but it didn't install the network as part of the OS install. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I really want to get to grips with Solaris but at the moment I just want to throw the box out the window!!
