Hi --

I want to have VNC start at boot time, similar to the
way that it does with the vncserver script on Linux.

I've found a couple recipes for automatically starting
VNC, but there are a couple problems. One problem is
that the recipes don't work -- they get errors. Schemes
which use inetd work, except that the sessions are run by
root and are not persistent.

Is there a way to start VNC for a list of users at boot
time so each session is run under the user id and is
persistent. I could copy the Linux script for vncserver
into /etc/init.d, but if there is another way, I'd like
to hear about it.
