I'm trying to use the setup instructions for samba that are here: http://wikis.sun.com/display/OpenSolarisInfo/How+to+Set+Up+Samba+in+the+OpenSolaris+2009.06+Release
However it says to login as root. There isn't a root password in opensolaris right? If I login with my username which has the root role it doesn't let me configure anything. I am only able to view the status and documentation etc... No ability to change anything. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
