Hi all,

I just tried to image-update two almost identical
Dell T105, one with a PERC card, one without.
Both were installed with opensolaris 2009.06 a
week ago, both with an additional Intel Pro 1000/PT
net card.

I did 'pfexec pkg image-update' on both systems,
waited a while and when it was done, rebooted.
Both did not come back online (was at home, could
not see the screens from there).

This morning, reverting them to the previous BE
solved it.

Retrying in front of the screen brings nothing,
the cylon screen comes up, but doesn't move,
and hitting a key reboots the system.

I then tried to boot 2010.02 118 text boot
from the live cd and got the following on screen :

--
Unexpected trap
instruction pointer     0x28
error code, optional    0x2
code segment            0x46
flags register          0xfffffffffbc4edf8
return %rsp             0x8
return %ss              0xee60
Attempting stack backtrace:
Stack traceback:

  0x4c000000b8ec8148)
unexpected trap in early boot
Press any key to reboot.

These systems are supposed to be a small cifs server,
and I am under the impression that 118 brings many
needed fixes to cifs, so I'm kind of puzzled on
what to do next..

Thanks.

j.
