Sadly, Atom motherboard's aren't compatible with ECC, as it exceeds the memory voltage limits.
As it stands, I'm not too worried, this is a small box and still a massive upgrade over my previous storage setup (multiple USB hard drives, zero parity). If you'll notice, I dropped Seagate in the 2.0/2.1 specs, as I noticed just as well the number of reviews where they either died or weren't RAID-friendly (which basically means they're not very good drives, it seems). At the moment, on Newegg, even the WD drive has a 53% "5" rating (21% "1" rating) on 87 reviews, while Samsung's drive has an 86% "5" rating (and nothing under 3) on 22 reviews. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
