leoric this is what i did. 1. logged in the old BE (that i'm able to access) 2. beadm mount opensolaris-1 /opensolaris-2 (this is the new one) 3. nano /etc/shadow n i deleted the entry that you asked me to. n rebooted, well it didn't work still not able to sign in... thanx a lot leoric for ur effort. i learnt plenty of things... but still i think there must be some way out... well if i delete this BE what would i loose? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
