Hi andrew, thank you for your reply but now its gone into a different situation alltogether! When I posted this thread it was the first time I logged into opensol, but after rebooting it wont boot into GUI anymore! The graphical loading screen just stays there for a long time and if I hit esc key a command prompt is waiting for me to login to console....this has happened the second time after installing opensol..wondering what goes wrong..?
Also any hint as to where the grubs menu.lst file is located? I checked in /rpool but the dir is empty. And in /boot/grub there are all the files except menu.lst!! I'd appericiate the respomse.. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
