Hi, I have an opensolaris box attached to the internet at home (cable modem) and so acts as a dhcp client for the attached interface. All works well but every few weeks it appears that I lose the dhcp address and the ip address resets to;
nge0: flags=1144843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,DHCP,DEPRECATED,ROUTER,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2 inet 0.0.0.0 netmask ff000000 ether 0:1f:c6:e3:84:90 I now have a script which detects this and reboots but it is starting to get a bit annoying.
