See http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-2724?l=en Really, it's not _meant_ to be "tweaked" much though, many tunables have dynamic values depending on for example the amount of RAM installed. Unless you say just what you're trying to achieve, more specific advice is impossible.
