I am trying to check out the latest opensolaris on a Dell pentium III GX-150 using the Live CD. It boots up only to the command line prompt.
I have performed the following steps 1)Use Xorg -configure to generate one configure file named xorg.conf.new 2) cp xorg.cong.new to /etc/xorg/X11/xorg.conf 4) restart GDM and Xorg The screen blinks 3 times and remain on the command line prompt. I intend to boot up with the live CD and then install the OS for testing. Any help from the community will be appreciate -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
