Hi all, It looks like I'll need to buy a parallel SCSI adapter for my amd64 OpenSolaris 2009 machine. I have an open 32-bit PCI slot, and I need to run the machine in 64-bit mode.
After glancing at the HCL, I see that many of the disk controllers listed are either embedded chipsets in SPARC hw, or are only supported if one copies binary drivers over from some older version of Solaris. Is there an add-in adapter that is: a.) supported in OSol 2009.x in 64-bit mode on x86 b.) has a PCI-32 bus interface c.) has a driver that can be easily had from the manufacturer, or is part of the OpenSolaris distribution already?
