[osol-help] open solaris in Dell XPS 435

I have a Studio XPS with an ati 4870, so far it seems to be fine,however for my 
pc,to install or just use the live cd I had to go into my bios and shut off 
hyperthreading.
I really would like to know if there is a work around so I can leave the 
hyperthreding on
