I'm trying to setup anonymous FTP on 2008.05 Opensolaris and it seems running into some configuration issue.
I can login to ftp using anonymous user. However, I cannot initiate binary mode data transfer. I'm able to download files in ASCII mode. During binary mode data transfer, I get following messages: 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for file (13 bytes). 421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection ********* Is there an additional setting to enable anonymous ftp users to be able to download files in binary mode?
