Try setting a proxy for pkg: export http_proxy="http://proxy.name:port" Then pkg should work just like Mozilla can. Otherwise, you're out of luck. You can't compile anything (like gcc) without a compiler (which is what you're trying to download in the first place). And currently there aren't any 'file format' IPS packages that you could download via Mozilla. Cheers, Glenn
