I am trying to install OpenSolaris 2008.05 on a Dell Inspirion 510M and have ran into difficulties....
After the live image is prepared for use i get what i think is some sort of keyboard error somethig like: kbd : kbd Exec format error I then do NOT get a keyboard layout choice, (im guessing it defaults to US English), and it goes onto the language choice.... It gets to Configuring Devices and then stops, i left it for 3 hours last night and it didnt budge at all.... I also sometimes get an error when the setup tries to put the system into maintenance mode (requires root password) but putting this in just sticks me on a bash terminal that seems to run off the disk :< Any one got any ideas?
