Hi, when I shutdown my Notebook, the Harddisk stops with a Noise. Win and Linux spin down the Disk, before the Notebook is switched off, but Opensolaris (2008.05) seems to just switch the Power off. So the Disk stops with "KLACK". I am not so sure if this is really good for the Disk?
Does anybody have an Idea where to look or what to do, to shutdown the Disk more "silently"? Thanks for Help, Guido -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
