[osol-help] Toshiba Satellite A215 boot

I have run Backtrack 3 and various other kinds of Slackware on my Acer laptop 
as well. Just curious, what were the step-by-step instructions for how you 
turned ACPI off in backtrack? If you break it down and tell us step by step 
exactly how you turned the ACPI off in backtrack / slackware, we might be able 
to translate the procedure from Slackware to Solaris.
