Identify the root disk partition, probably /dev/dsk/d0t0d0s0.  Boot the system 
from
installation media or network boot to single-user.  Mount the root disk 
partition on /a,
edit /a/etc/shadow, remove root's password, reboot.  Root will have a blank 
password,
just hit the Enter key when asked for the password.  Create a new password 
which you
can remember.
