Hi list,
I'm trying to dual boot opensolaris and debian testing on a laptop. I have
opensolaris on a primary partition and debian on two extended partitions. When
I installled Opensolaris it wiped Debian's grub and I couldn't boot into
Debian. I restored using the Debian cd, but that didn't pick up the Solaris
partition. Eventually I mounted the Solaris partition under the LiveCD. I ran
installgrub and I think that successfully installed grub to stage1 andstage2.
Then I modified Debian's menu.lst to chainload OpenSolaris. However, now if I
select the OpenSolaris entry I land in grub 0.95 and solaris doesn't boot. What
else do I need to do? Thank you.
