if you cd i/var/crash/`hostname` and are there any files in the directory, Also
the Hard drive suspected errors can be eliminated by loading on another slice
of within your Solaris2 fdisk partition, try loading Solaris 10u5 from
sun.com/downloads, this you can load the OS on slice 3 using UFS filesystem for
example I use slice 0 8g root , slice1 8g for swap, slice 3 for 2nd root, slice
4 or 5 can be used for zfs filesystem.
>> Can this cause an NMI during boot?
If you load Solaris 10u5, it would be interesting this uses ufs instead of xfs
for the root filesystem and see if the errors go away or change?
boot up the kernel -v verbose option and Attach.output.
uname -a
prtdiag -v
prtconf -Dpv
dmesg
