Hi, This might marginally help you, I'll try with my E71 and let you know. However, one time, I was using my old Sony Ericsson W800i to connect from opensolaris. It worked nicely.
Sorry, but I no longer have the config files (re-install), but I do remember what I did. I followed from config files from Ubuntu users trying to get online using SE phones. SE phones are particularly nice in the category that they appear as standard serial modem on USB. There were few extra init strings required. I got them from the SE W800i windows drivers. There are few inf files and if you take a look, they list all init strings required. So it kinda worked. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
