Hi there, I installed Opensolaris 2008-05 using Virtualbox and applied the package updates as in the release notes (http://opensolaris.org/os/project/indiana/resources/relnotes/200805/x86/#Update_Inst). This was successful but when I tried to use the update all option in IPS, Opensolaris hung after downloading and installing all of the packages. On restarting, there are now two options in the GRUB menu. The first option allows me to boot into the original installation where I find that no updates have been applied and the second option, called opensolaris-1, fails to start (error message is krtld: bibd_primary(): no relocation information found for module /platform/i86pc/kernel//unix
Why has this opensolaris-1 been created and how do I ge it to work. Have I lost all of my updates? Thanks in advance. Al. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
