Hi Installed the below to use MySQL on SunOS opensolaris4 5.11 snv_99 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris
paulj at opensolaris4:~$ pfexec pkg list | grep my SUNWmyspell-dictionary-en 0.5.11-0.99 installed ---- SUNWmysql-base 0.5.11-0.99 installed ---- SUNWmysql-python 0.5.11-0.99 installed ---- SUNWmysql5 5.0.45-0.99 installed ---- SUNWmysql5test 5.0.45-0.99 installed ---- Would I expect to see MySQL using svcs as I can with Apache22 or do I start and stop it 'manually'? If anyone has any pointers to using it on OpenSolaris it would be useful. Regards Paul
