I'm making a mildly educated guess here, but I think it's probably either an ACPI related issue or you've got bad RAM.
Which build of OpenSolaris are you using? Did you say you were using the 101 build (which is very unstable). Why not try booting up from a more stable build like build 86 instead of from build 101. I think the "dash one" update is build 86 with a better IPS system than the original build 86 had? Not really sure here as I don't work for Sun or anything, but download this file: http://www.genunix.org/distributions/indiana/os200805-1.iso burn it to CD and tell us how it goes. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
