Would like to be running OpenSolaris (since it will go seamless mode in VirtualBox, unlike the current Solaris (where guest additions don't work at all) and SXDE (where the mouse/keyboard transition fine, but no full-screen seamless support)), but have the following issue:
I'm unable to connect to Sun Secure Global Desktop servers from it due to a "no java installed" message. I've installed the latest JRE, and dropped the plugin into the FireFox plugin directory, but still no go. Is there some trick to it? If that's a known "just doesn't work", is there a way to get SSGD working from inside SXDE? In Firefox on SXDE, Java starts up, but Tarantella fails to download/install properly. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
