[osol-help] Script invoking at pkg install

One package uses IPS mechanism to publish itself in opensolaris. It needs to do 
some clean up job during removal. IPS does not support invoking application's 
own preremove script during pkg uninstall. What is the alternative? Can we 
start a service during pkg uninstall? Please help me out...
