Hi, I'm using OpenSolaris with ZFS for my mediaserver, and I am wondering if it is possible to have some sort of a guest account, so that I don't have to type a username/password to read the content on the server.
I want to use Vista Home Basic as the OS on my HTPC, but that OS does not have the ability to save network passwords, so either I need to have the same username and password on my HTPC as I have on my server, or I need to manually log in to the server each time I start the HTPC. And I don't want to have to do either of those two options. So I am wondering if there is a way to let people read from the server without entering a password. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
