Hello Marcus, As far as I know text console installer for OpenSolaris doesn't exist right now. In my opinion it's very big disadvantage of OpenSolaris. Eventually I can install it using GUI installer, but what about server? I've installed successufully OpenSolaris b96 on old laptop with Celeron 1.4 GHz CPU and 512 MB RAM, but it was very long time process... :) So, I recommend you to buy more RAM. It's rather cheap these days and it will help you to save your time and nerves :) Recently I've upgraded RAM in my laptop to 2 GB and I can see plain progress. My best regards, Pawel
