ENV: windows 2008 (native MS iSCSI initiator single path) running exchange 2007 connected to an iSCSI volume on a snv_99 SPARC node. (I also tested this on a windows 2003 server with iSCSI v 2.07.)

The Target name is given in the dump data. Log Name: System Source: iScsiPrt Date: 11/18/2008 2:02:06 PM Event ID: 10 Task Category: None Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: ********** Description: Login request failed. The login response packet is given in the dump data. I immediately reconnected the volume and was able to get away with conducting this as an online expansion since I expected this to happen, but for obvious reasons this is extremely dangerous. My questions are: - is this the the expected result when expanding a ZFS block volume that has iSCSI share enabled to send a logout? - If I had multiple paths configure would there have been a difference? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
