Hi, I'm having some problems finding the drives that are connected through my Adaptec 3805. I have 8 drives connected to it, one drive connected to the onboard (motherboard) SATA controller and one IDE drive (for OS).
But when I run "format" in Opensolaris and Solaris I only get the two disks are are connected directly to the motherboard. If I create raids or volumes with the cards onboard utility I find those when using OpenSolaris, but not when using Solaris. I'm fairly new to Solaris, so is there something that I am missing? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
