Most of those are Solaris font packages containing commercial fonts whose licenses don't allow them to be included in OpenSolaris. They are included in Solaris Express, but the filesystem layout is different, so the packages won't be cleanly installable.
SUNWsprox is the only non-font package in the list, but most *x packages were 64-bit packages in Solaris 9 and older that merged into the base packages in Solaris 10 and later (including OpenSolaris). Can you tell Oracle to just continue without them? -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersmith at sun.com Sun Microsystems, Inc. - X Window System Engineering andrea wrote: > Hi all, > > SUNWxwfnt > SUNWsprox > SUNWilof > SUNWi1cs > SUNWi15cs > > I'm trying to install Oracle 10g (10201_database_solx86) on OpenSolaris 5.11 > but the above packages could not be installad due of this error: > # pkg install SUNWsprox > pkg: no package matching 'SUNWsprox' could be found in current catalog ... > install failed. > > I searched into the "os200805" image but I could nou find the required > packages. > > Thank you :-)!
