Hi Guys, I know that this list is about Open Solaris, but Im checking if someone had the same problem that I faced last weekend. My V1280 was running Solaris 8 and we tried to upgrade it to solaris 10. I used the solaris 10 dvd upgrade interface, and after the upgrade the system stoped when started the configuring devices. We removed all the hardware that could be causing the problem, like HBAs and the Driver Tape, the boot -v didnt show us anything. The release that we used (sol 10, 11/06) is ok for this hardware, the same problem happened when using a recent release (sol 10, 05/08).
We are planning to make a fresh install to solaris 10, I dont know if we can face the same problem. Any tip can help us. Thanks in advanve. Att. Artur Baruchi
