# grep '/usr/X11/share/X11/locale/C/Compose' contents
/usr/X11/share/X11/locale/C/Compose f none 0444 root bin 0 0 1225866360
SUNWxwplt
# ls -al '/usr/X11/share/X11/locale/C/Compose'
-r--r--r--   1 root     bin            0 Nov  5 01:26
/usr/X11/share/X11/locale/C/Compose
# locale
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=
#
There should be lots of files return from this command for the all the locale's:
# find /usr/X11/share/X11/locale

Must be a bug in the new 2008.11, you should submit a bugid. include the output
of /usr/X11/bin/scanpci ; prtdiag -v ; cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
