Hello, i wanted to install opensolaris 2008.05 at an desktop system, with an installed Windows Vista. (Mulitboot-System) But i seems as opensolaris fails to identifier my hard disk drives.
If i call the format command during the installation i became the following output : c1t0 <drive type unknown> /pci at 0,0/pci-ide at e/ide at 0/cmdk at 0,0 c1t1 <drive type unknown> /pci at 0,0/pci-ide at e/ide at 0/cmdk at 0,0 what can i do that opensolaris know this disks? When I start the installer and use the disk c1t1 as the installation target I get the following messages: couldn't read partition table for c1t1 couldn't preserve partitions on disk c1t1 - fdisk failed couldn't create fdisk partitionstable on disk <c1t1> could not create fdisk target Ti process completed unsuccesfully ti_create_target exited with status = -1 Message was edited by: sunkiste -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
