Did the system go down when your were in CDE?
Log into the console in the dtlogin GUI manager option dropdown, cd to /var/tmp 
and mv  wscon* into /var/tmp/org directory.
Then apply all the patches in the output in that order smpatch analyze

Then run the smpatch analyze command and apply all the patches in that order
if the issue continues submit a case in SunSolve or bugid at
