# useradd -m -d /export/home/demo1 -g 1 -u 201 -c " demo user1 " -s /usr/bin/bash -k /etc/skel demo1
Yes I know the syntax , But we are triyng to HELP a newbie here ! Dont confuse newbies with to much CLI :-) Most newbie problems in this area comes from the automounter and the fact that its occupying /home and any attempts to make home directories in /home fails until you have studied and learnd how the automounter works in solaris. So the simplest solution is to forget /home for the moment and just make the Home directories in /export/home. //Lars This message posted from opensolaris.org
