Are you trying to create redundancy for your data, if so then the mirror 1 
setup pointed out above is the way to go. But if your trying to create a dual 
boot environment so you have to identical setups to play with and for possible 
testing then I would suggest not doing the dual boot and just use a virtual 
machine or zones. Virtual box is great if you want a gui based vm  or zones are 
even better if you want a command line based vm. They are nicer to test with 
because you can create snapshots and restore back those snapshots if you kill 
the vm while testing stuff. Being they are separate from the host you only hose 
or lock up the vm and need to restart it.
