"ruby-dev" is a cluster that causes other packages to be installed - as such, it has no real content itself.
On Friday, it was republished in order to add a "classification" metadata (which will be used by the Package Manager in the future) and I suspect that accounts for the zero-sized update. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
