Hi,

I have been using ubuntu for a while now but decided to give opensolaris a try
(thanks to Phoronix for those superb screenshots). I tried the live CD and
everything booted up beautifully and I am surprised how polished the
distribution looked. While everything loaded pretty well on my Dell Inspiron
1525, my integrated wifi card could not be used. I checked Device manager and
it showed the wifi and the wired lan missing drivers. However I am unable to
install any drivers because this is a live environment and my CD drive is
already being occupied by the liveCD.

so my question is, how do I go about fixing this issue? I read NDIS could be
used (I believe I have a broadcom card, and I might have the drivers on CD that
came with my laptop). However is NDIS already installed on opensolaris
2008.11? If not, how could I install it considering I can't get any internet
connection at this point?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. This is my very first time trying out
Solaris, and I would love for it to continue without such barriers.
